SNP Marker Map

SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) Marker is a DNA sequence variation where a single nucleotide - A, T, C, or G - in a genome/genomic stretch, differs among members of a same species (or between paired chromosomes in an individual). This module facilitates curation of SNP marker information by using NCBI SNP id, gene name, chromosome and chromosomal positions. User can view tabulated as well as graphical genomic map information of the SNP marker data and corresponding genes. The SNP Data has been collected from dbSNP - The Single Nucleotide Polymorphism database (B126) and Welcome Trust Case Control Consortium.
