HomoloGene is an application from NCBI. It detects homologs from the annotated genes of several completely sequenced eukaryotic genomes. This resource includes both curated and calculated orthologs and homologs for nucleotide and protein sequences. This section provides a list of Ids to the NCBI Homologene database (Release 61).
