Protein-protein interactions refer to the association of protein molecules. Physically interacting proteins and co-expresed genes tend to be involved in the same cellular process and mutations in their genes may lead to similar disease phenotypes. Protein interaction data gives a system level view of the disease pathophysiology. This module displays data both in tabulated as well as graphical forms. Agile Protein Interaction DataAnalizer (APID) (Release July 2007) and Potential Interactions of Proteins (PIP) are the two databeses from which interaction data has been collected.
